Vista Woman Health Assessment
Vista Woman Health Assessment
Do you want to get proactive about your health? Do you have concerns about your periods or pelvic discomfort or have a family history of ovarian cancer?
Or perhaps you want to make sure you catch any potential gynaecological issues as early as possible so you can avoid unnecessary worry and discomfort.
If so, it’s time to take advantage of our Vista Woman Health Assessment.
What is a women's health assessment?
A health assessment for women is a health and wellness check that involves targeted blood tests and detailed scans of your pelvic organs.
This helps detect a range of women’s health issues, from common conditions such as uterine fibroids and endometriosis, which occur in one in three and one in 10 women of reproductive age, respectively, to less common conditions such as ovarian cancer, which occurs in one in 50 women in the UK.
With early detection of gynaecological conditions, you can look forward to early treatment and the peace of mind that comes from knowing what’s going on with your body.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Vista Woman Health Assessment
Your Vista Woman Health Assessment combines the power of targeted blood tests with specialist ultrasound scans of your pelvis. Together, this allows our experienced doctors to create a clearer and more complete picture of your health. This ensures you receive a more accurate diagnosis of any health conditions present and more tailored treatment advice.
Your Vista Woman Health Assessment will include:
-
Initial doctor's consultation
Start your journey with a 15-minute virtual appointment with one of our experienced doctors. This is your opportunity to discuss the details of your women’s health assessment and ask any questions you may have.
-
Blood test for CA-125
You will be sent an at-home pinprick blood test kit. Once complete, pop this in the post to our lab where it will be analysed for levels of a protein called CA-125 (cancer antigen 125). Low levels of this protein are found in healthy women; however, raised levels of CA-125 can be a sign of certain types of cancer, including endometrial, fallopian tube, ovarian or peritoneal cancer, as well as other gynaecological conditions, such as uterine fibroids and endometriosis.
-
Clinically-designed essential blood panel
You will be sent an at-home pinprick blood test kit to detect signs of infection, inflammation and other health issues. This clinically designed blood test will include testing for the protein HbA1C to check for prediabetes and diabetes, alongside testing for your kidney, liver and thyroid function. Your vitamin B12, cholesterol and iron levels will also be checked.
-
Pelvis ultrasound scan
Ultrasound scans are a safe and generally non-invasive technology, used to diagnose a wide range of conditions throughout the body. A transvaginal ultrasound scan of the pelvic area in women looks at the uterus, ovaries and adjacent areas. In some cases, an internal examination is performed to look more closely at certain internal organs. In women, a pelvic ultrasound scan can, therefore, help identify uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, tumours, endometriosis and other abnormalities.
-
Follow-up doctor's consultation
After your tests, you will receive a full report of your results and have a 15-minute virtual follow-up appointment with one of our expert doctors to discuss your results. They will provide personalised recommendations based on your findings, so you can better understand your health and make informed decisions about any next steps.
Our health assessments are straightforward and stress-free.
